In 10 years at Amazon, I was the lead or sole designer for new-technology and start-up teams, and founded the first UX team in Alexa AI. As a Document Bar Raiser, I coached business and technical document writing across job roles and levels at the company. I speak at design/tech conferences and was a long-time permanent instructor at the monthly Amazon UX bootcamp for new hires. I mentored designers and software engineers, and trained hiring managers on design interviewing/hiring. I worked on the first voice device launched by Amazon (Amazon Dash) and created major UX patterns used across Amazon.
